What to bring snorkeling
Every reef trip we checked includes the mask, snorkel and fins. You bring a swimsuit, a towel and sun protection.
Bring
- Swimsuit, towel, hat and sunglasses.
- Reef-safe sunscreen, or a rash guard to use less of it.
- A waterproof phone case or underwater camera.
Can you snorkel if you can't swim well?
It depends on the boat. Fury says you must be able to swim, and Floridays says you should be. Danger Charters and Honest Eco welcome weak swimmers and give you flotation. SNUBA starts at age 8.
